How long does it take?
It usually takes 2-4 hours to complete 1 tub.
When Can I use the tub?
48-72 Hours.
What colors can I choose from?
We can do any color in the rainbow but you have to bring in a color sample to be matched. Half down is required for all custom colors (which is nonrefundable once color is mixed).
Does the tech return to caulk in the tub?
Only if the customer requests it. Some customers prefer to caulk themselves. If Southern Refinishing comes back to recaulk a tub, there is a $35.00 charge that applies.
What type of material do you use?
We use an Epoxy-based glaze with enamel finish. We have been in busines for a long time and this special mixture is what we find works best.
What can I use to clean my tub?
Non abrasive clenser. Nothing gritty or sandy feeling. No straight bleach. No scrubbing bubbles. We prefer you use dishwashing liquid or soft scrub gel with bleach.
What material do you spray the tubs with?
We spray our tubs with a synthetic porcelain. Synthetic porcelain is a high build high gloss epoxy with an enamel finish.
Do you sell claw foot tubs?
Yes, we have a variety of tubs for sale starting at $950.00. All tubs come re-finished, unless otherwise specified.
